Disclaimer & Important Disclosures

Please read the following disclosures carefully before submitting a loan request. Understanding our role and your rights helps you make smarter borrowing decisions.

Important Notice: Review all disclosures carefully before submitting a loan inquiry. If you are facing significant financial hardship, we strongly encourage you to consult a certified financial advisor before proceeding with any borrowing decision.

What Creditus Loan Does

Creditus Loan operates as a free, online loan-matching marketplace. When you submit a loan inquiry through our platform, your information is shared with our vetted network of approved lenders and lending partners who may be able to meet your financing needs. We charge borrowers nothing for this service.

Our goal is to save you time by connecting you with relevant loan offers through a single, streamlined application — rather than having you fill out forms on dozens of individual lender websites.

Creditus Loan Is Not a Lender

Creditus Loan does not make lending decisions, extend credit, set interest rates, or define repayment terms. All loan approvals, rate offers, and contract terms are determined solely by the individual lenders and lending partners within our network, based on their own underwriting standards and the applicable laws in your state.

Creditus Loan does not act as an agent, broker, or representative for any specific lender, nor does it endorse or guarantee any lender's products or services. We are not liable for the actions, decisions, or conduct of any third-party lender you may be connected with through our platform.

Lender Terms & Disclosures

Any lender you are matched with through Creditus Loan is required to present you with complete loan documentation — including all fees, the annual percentage rate (APR), repayment schedule, and any penalty clauses — before you agree to any loan. You are under no obligation to accept any offer you receive.

Please note that Creditus Loan receives compensation from lenders and lending partners when a successful match results in a funded loan. This compensation helps us provide our matching service at no cost to borrowers and does not influence the loan terms you are offered.

Tribal Lender Notice

Depending on your location and loan needs, you may be matched with a tribal lender — an entity that operates under tribal sovereignty and certain federal regulations, rather than the consumer protection laws of your state. Tribal lenders may not be subject to state-imposed interest rate caps or other lending restrictions.

As a result, rates and fees offered by tribal lenders may be higher than those from state-licensed institutions. Any disputes with a tribal lender may also be subject to tribal jurisdiction. We strongly advise you to read all loan terms and disclosures in full before accepting any offer from a tribal lender.

Late Payments & Credit Score Impact

Missed or late loan payments can negatively affect your credit score and overall financial health. Late payments are typically reported to one or more of the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion), where they may remain on your credit history for up to seven years.

We encourage you to only accept a loan offer if you are confident you can meet the repayment obligations. If you anticipate difficulty making a scheduled payment, contact your lender directly — before the due date — to discuss any available options such as a payment extension or hardship plan.

State Availability & Restrictions

Creditus Loan's matching service is not available in all U.S. states. Certain states prohibit specific categories of loans, or we may not currently have lending partners operating in your jurisdiction. If we are unable to facilitate a match due to state-level restrictions, you will be informed at the time of your application.

Residents of states where short-term or high-rate lending is restricted are advised to explore alternative financing options, such as local credit unions or non-profit lending programs.

Credit & Identity Authorization

By submitting your information through Creditus Loan, you authorize us and our lending partners to verify your identity and assess your creditworthiness. This process may include checking your information against records maintained by major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) or alternative credit reporting agencies.

You also authorize Creditus Loan to share your submitted application data with lenders in our network for the exclusive purpose of generating and presenting relevant loan offers. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and we never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
